THis place was ten minutes on a motor boat to the East from the Amed Beach Resort hotel. We fell into the water from a boat.

Artificial reefs were built here on the sandy bottom – pyramid of hollow square metal cubes. Such artificial constructions in the tropical seas can be found in multiple instances, in this way the local peole create conditions for the formation of islands marine life. This building was erected, apparently, not so long ago, because it didn't really grow into corals, however, there are many fishes (Moorish idols and other butterfly-fish) inside and around the pyramids unlike the empty bottom areas. Almost immediately we found a very pretty pink Leaf Scorpionfish..

Leaf Scorpionfish - Taenianotus triacanthus

A little deeper we shot the large grey-blue surgeon-fishs, a whiptail stingray, butterfly-fishes and angel-fishes, big sea cucumber..

A gentle sandy slope continued by small reef wall with small canyons and grottos, and there were corals and anemones, shells and starfish.. Watch our video.
