From the book "Bali Island", part 1 "West", episode 5.

8° 5'25.54"S 114°29'53.99"E

The North-Western end of the island. There is a sunken boat here at a depth of 30-40 metres. Its story is vague, no one really knows about it and there are only fragments at the bottom. One lonely shy whitetip shark lives here who did not allow us to swim closer, so we failed to make a portrait, but you can see it in the movie. We made some photos and movies at depth and moved slowly upward along the coral wall, moving to the west by current. We met something by the way, look at the movie..

And here are some photos. This is Fire Dartfish, a relative of the Goby. It is very quick and easy, instantly washed away at any danger, therefore, it is nice to do a portrait of it.

Nudibranch Hologenic Phyllidiella pustulosa, unusually large, 20 cm in length..

Soft octocorals. They are very various but beautiful..

Pygmy Seahorse. It is not good camera angle, but the creature is tiny, half size of a nail, it is extremely hard to discern, so we done a few pictures in the blind and what pose it was – just a case, thanks for that :-)

These fish called "Razorfish" by the English, they are flat and they shine like a blade. In Latin it is "Aeoliscus strigatus".

Sea turtle, you have seen it in the movie.

Boxfish of the Tetraodontidae, a relative of the poisonous puffer fish or "Fugu", the Japanese cook their national dish of it, which is considered almost the most dangerous food on Earth..
