From the book "Puerto Galera. Roads of corsairs", episode 2.

There is northern part of the Gulf of Varadero, Coral Bay. There is a namesake dive hotel o the shore, small reef under water, consisting of hard and mostly soft corals (whole fields of them).

We had here several interesting meetings. Here you are, a Moray eel is in a hole for example..

Anemonia shrimp. They are very small, colored in camouflage or transparent, so it is difficult to discern them. Thanks to our guide – he'd pointed on :)

Nudibranches also live here – bright and slow-moving marine snail. Their flashy colors and unusual corollas of gills always attract attention. By the way, they say, the brighter coloring the more poisonous they are, predatory fishes know this, they even try to eat them ..

Nudibranch Nembrotha rutilans Nudibranch Chromodoris magnifica
Nudibranch Hypselodoris bullockii Nudibranch Chromodoris annae

The dive was calm - no waves on the surface and currents under water, therefore we've captured a few fine stories about the local underwater inhabitants. Here they are, enjoy :)
