From the book "Bali Island", part 1 "West", episode 7.

The South of the island. Thre is a wall of coastal coral reef riddled with caves and small tunnels up to 6 meters long each. Underwater visibility was better than on the Northern open side of the island. We drifted by the tide, it was not strong and frequently changed its direction. Interesting soft corals are growing on the wall..

Individual bushes of gorgonians were just huge. Pygmy seahorses often hide in them, but they are difficult to find because very small, also they have camouflage color. Here is a picture, not the best, but even so..

There are also nudibranchs and colorful sea stars..

Nudibranchs Chromodoris africana

And, of course, sea lilies, they are always beautiful..

And scorpionfish sat on a saucer of coral surrounded by boxer shrimps..

Walking in the caves and tunnels is another story. There is something of magic..

Electric File Clams live here, the edges of their shells reflect light, attracting of nutritious plankton. They live in deep burrows and it is hard to get closer to them for filming..

You can see them a little better in the movie. Also there is a transparent anemone shrimp is jumping there, and our friendly team started to dance at the end of the dive.. Look at this! :-)
