Life in Sabang depends on diving which is the main income here, not divers come here rarely. Coastal bay is spacious, all kinds of boats and small ships abound here.
The coast is built by dive resorts. Level of all resorts about the same – middle class, but there are some hotels cleaner and more decent, they could be determine easy by the room prices.
Local feature – bar on the water. There's two of them and both are popular.
The closest way from our hotel La Laguna to the village - concrete path along the beach, past the hotels, restaurants and dive centers. It takes about 20 minutes.
There are many people, motorbikes and cars on the narrow streets of the village - the hustle. At every step you can see little markets, shops, currency exchange, travel agencies.. There is even a nightclub and a disco – all the usual tourists want. Well, how else - this is the commercial and cultural center of the world famous diving resort :) The life is in full swing!
Jeepneys – the most popular type of public transport in the Philippines. It was originally US military jeeps which remained on Philippines after World War II. Local craftsmen began to modify them - making frame longer, re-facing, painted each on its own. And finally a great variety of unique artisanal cars appeared. Then these "vans" flooded the country and the people loved they. They even organize the annual carnivals – whose jeepney is cooler? :)
Overall, it seems that the tourist business in Sabang is quite good. It is the proof of that - "antique-like" Castile castle-hotel is built in the centre of the village and modern bank building nearby.

Night Sabang, view from the sea. There are not so much lights, but hotels shine! :) I think by the time it will be more and more because divers come here gladly. The main point - do not scare away local underwater creatures by a crowd of divers - otherwise there will nothing to look at.. :)
