Great hotel is beautiful, comfortable. It was named somehow else before, but it was bought by Hard Rock Cafe International, Inc. They had built additional residential block, restaurant and Hard Rock Cafe.
The place is popular thanks to the global brand name, but not only – there is really good there. There are costumes and guitars of celebrities in the lobby (replicas, most likely, because there are not enough originals for all Hard Rock Cafes in the world :) ). Music is in corridors and elevators, music rock-clips on the TV monitors all the time, the set of music changes daily, and you can see a lot of great rock'n'roll junk. Territory (includes cafes and bars between the pools) is planted with coconut palms and flowers, and many beach chairs under umbrellas are located among. There are fountains and children's water slides in the center - children and sometimes quite weighty ladies fly from the water pipe and flop into the water, crying of delight - so, when bathing keep yourself away from this area, they can strike you dead :)
The sea is right here just behind the fence, beach access through the gate is closed for the night. The Batu Ferringhi beach is 3-4 kilometers long. It is, on my opinion, just gorgeous: wide, the sand is white and clean, sunbathe is grate and many other things to do if you wish – boat trips, parasailing, riding on a banana boat or by a horse on the beach, water scooters – anything you want, just pay money. But people doesn't like to swim in the sea here. Of course, we swim regular, but other persons do this so rarely.. It is hard to understand why, medusas didn't bite us, the water was enough warm and salty, but cloudy, you can not see anything in it.. However, the depth starts at the first meters from the shore and it is probably scary swimming with kids, but many people come here without kids...
In few words, this is a wonderful place for rest on the beach – imagine you sunbathe and they bring you pizza – juice - beer, oh grace! :)
The hotel rooms look new, they have rock-style decor, fancy and fantasy, sliding shutters-mirrors between the bedroom and the bathroom, large TV set in painting frame, Marilyn Monroe image above the bolster, Elton John image over the sink, the bed is clean and soft – what's a beauty! :)
Breakfast is quite good. Smoked salmon was offered, however, rarely, but everything else is quite enough, it is quite possible to overeat yourself.
The Hard Rock Cafe is open until 2:00 a.m. and until 2:30 on weekends. But it is boringly here in the evening because from about 18:00 teenagers start occupy the place, and you feel youself like in daycare facilities. This trend we've noticed before: in Singapore, for example, rock café – looks like a branch of kindergarten and the main dish there is ice cream. :) Well, the kids love the rock! :) But, note, they are allowed to stay there only until 22:30. And the noise, bustle and live music usually starts omly after 22:00, and you will need to sleep before during the day to be not sleepy during the revelry..
So, this is a great place to swim, sunbathe and revel in plenty, I recommend it to everyone :) Here, look at our video:
